Artist info

Animation magicians Rapapawn hail from Spain. They are an experimental animation, illustration and zine publishing studio run by Óscar Raña and Cynthia Alfonso. Since 2017 they create a highly recognizable psychedelic universe that is connecting surrealistic imagery, frenetic cuts, a saturated use of color with abstract and geometric forms. They worked for musicians (such as Holy Fuck, Dan Deacon and Cola), brands (like WeTransfer, The New York Times, MOOG, Bandcamp and Givenchy) but they also operate as visual artists who exhibit in galleries and museums from Seattle to Amsterdam to Girona to Madrid and Vigo.
